Oh why HELLO THERE my adoring public...

Just getting ready for my weekly photo shoot here at the house. Why don't you take a seat over there? I'll practice some of my sweet poses for you!

Here is one of my many serious poses. It sort of says, "You totally ate the last of the spaghettio's, even though I asked you not to...didn't you."


This is my "You may be crazy, but you're still my mother. And I love ya." look.


Oh this is a fun one! I like to call this my, "I'm just frolicking on the beach in the midday sun, how about you?" pose. You have to picture this one with crashing waves and some sand.


And finally a couple more shots where I was really just playing around with the space. I think I did a good job of capturing the innocence of youth.

It was only supposed to be a trim...

But then mommy got creative with the scissors, and um...well...this was the result. Daddy wasn't very happy at all, but bubbas seemed OK with it! Yesterday he was feeling around the top of his head and he said, "ALL GONE!" Haha. My bubbas! He looks like such a little man now, hehe.

We've been going to Disneyland ALOT lately!

Aidan wants to know if it's time to try some rides with loops in them. Maybe in a few years, bubbs.

And here are a few pictures of the new show at Disneyland that takes place on the Mark Twain Steamboat. It's called Princess Tiana's Showboat Jubilee! Princess Tiana is the newest Disney Princess. She's from the upcoming movie The Princess and the Frog! The shows is really neat and colorful (even though these pictures don't really do the costumes justice. It was so gray and rainy on this day!) and has some great music and lots of dancing. Aidan was mesmerized! I really liked it and I always have lots of respect for the cast members. They really do try and make it worth your while to stand there and watch them! Kudos!









Special Minnie Mouse Christmas ears that Travis bought for me! Yay!! I've never had ears like these! I'm so special.

I am thankful.

I am thankful for a loving, patient and hardworking husband.
I am thankful for my beautiful and healthy son who brings me joy every single day.
I am thankful for my parents and their unfailing support.
I am thankful for my husband's family and that I am blessed to call them my family now too.
I am thankful for all my friends, especially a group of ladies I have met through the internet who have turned out to be some of the most wonderful and supportive women I have ever met.
I am thankful for a wonderful boss who makes it possible for me to be with my family whenever I need to be.
I am thankful for the company I work for and that it has weathered this financial storm to become a stronger organization, and I am proud to be affiliated with them.
I am thankful to be a citizen of this great nation.

I hope this Thanksgiving you all find something to be thankful for too!

Oh boy. Bubbas is CRAZY SERIOUS when it comes to reading.

First, we very carefully pick a book. Something intellectual and stimulating for the mind. Ah! Perfect. Lady and the Tramp. A classic.


"WAIT A MINUTE. Hold the phone. What's this? A book about giant lizards??? Ok, this is going on my personal Winter Reading List."


"Fascinating. Dogs. Can. TALK. I knew it."


"Wait a sec...there's a talking beaver in this story. Ok. Good one. I know THAT'S not possible. I wasn't born yesterday! Kind of..."


LOOK AT THAT CONCENTRATION. We're gonna open this book if it kills us!

Pumpkin Patch time with our little pumpkin!

Even with my back thrown out, I managed to take a few pictures during our trip to the pumpkin patch this past Sunday! How's that for dedication! Enjoy!

Halloween Spooks!

A preview of our costumes for the big day! Bubbas wouldn't keep the skeleton hat on though, haha. Grammie Tammie worked so hard to get it ready and as soon as we put it on him, NOPE! He yanked it right off. Ahhhh well. Maybe by Halloween he'll actually be ready to wear it? One can only hope!

Chillin' with Gramps and getting close to Spooky Time!

We hung out with the gramps today out in the front yard. Aidan had the time of his life climbing all over EVERYTHING, haha. It was the first time I saw him go down the stairs, the right way! He would veeerrrrryyyyyyy carefully put some chubby little toes (which were quite dirty by the end of the afternoon) on the very edge of the step and then slooowwwwwllllyyyy lower himself backwards onto the next step! He was so proud of himself! Yay for my bubbas learning new things!

Life with a toddlin' toddler...it's crazy!

Haven't blogged in a loooooooong time, but bubbas keeps me pretty busy! Especially since he's walking now and the entire world, especially our tiny little condo, is his playground. So that keeps me away from the computer and other intelligent life pretty much all day, haha. Elmo is our best friend! And so are strawberry or any kind of fruit snack.

I will post new pics later tonight, but for now, check out these awesome professional pics done by the lovely and talented Mrs. Julie Lange, our cousin! They turned out so beautiful!
